Chairman of the iGW at the BDI

The Federation of German Industries (BDI) is the leading association representing German industry. It advocates for the interests of 39 sector associations and over 100,000 companies, employing around 8 million people.

The Committee for Industrial Healthcare Economy within the BDI is dedicated to strengthening and further developing the industrial healthcare sector (iGW) as a key industry in Germany. Among its core tasks is promoting dialogue between politics, science, and business to develop health policy and economic strategies. These goals are particularly important in light of the government's restructuring following the snap elections in February this year.
